Happy Friday! I’m headed to the Arkansas Women Bloggers Conference, where I’ll be conducting a workshop in writing personal narrative. I’m looking forward to reading some great stories. Here’s a little sustenance to fortify you against fate’s slings and arrows.

Responding to art is so much about the right place and right time. You have to feel free to skip things, move on, and (maybe) come back later.
Komorebi. This is the word the Japanese have for when sunlight filters through the trees – the interplay between the light and the leaves.
