I think I might actually be getting better at this.

    I’m right there with you. Here is how I fix Kid Cuisine:

    1) Remove plastic film from whole thing.
    2) Remove any kind of candy or sprinkles. (Because you have to hide them from your kids, since they are for you to eat later. The gummy sharks pair nicely with a crisp Reisling, by the way.)
    3) Put in the microwave for 2 minutes and 45 seconds at full power.
    4) Pour ketchup over all of it, even the pudding, if your child so desires.

    Voila! Four easy steps. I swear it’s not necessary to consider power level or time, unless your child is some kind of mini gourmand, which probably isn’t the case, because if they were, they wouldn’t stand for Kid Cuisine in the first place.
